We were so blessed with beautiful weather, and especially blessed with wonderful family and friends to help us celebrate Jessica's 9th birthday. Jessica designed her cake with "peace" signs all over it.
When it was time for Jessica to make a wish she said
"but I got my wish already (cell phone)" so I told her to make a wish for me but she wouldn't do it! There's no sense wasting a wish!

It is now tradition to have a water balloon fight at all birthday parties given at our house. Little Jolie's in the center hitting Garrett!

A favorite event of the day was Clint swinging all the kids in the hammock swing. They LOVED it. I was sure the tree was going to break or they were going to fall out (birthday curse : )
Clint needed a little help hanging the pinata because he recently had all of the low limbs cut off the trees! Garrett saved the day by climbing up in the tree and hanging the rope for us!
As ususal, whacking the pinata was fun had by all!
And so was eating the candy!
The birthday curse must have been a seven year curse because the day went off without a hitch! I am so thankful for my "baby" and all the wonderful friends and family who were with us.
