Samantha was very excited to be in the pageant again hoping for a crown this time around. Of course, Jessica wouldn't even consider being in the pageant, throwing away her entry form at school so it wouldn't make it home to Mom! (grin) I can't help it, I think she is beautiful! I know I say that every year and every year she refuses. Anyway, Samantha was all smiles and happy but she and Jes were both getting over the flu that day. 
As a matter of fact, Jessica was still running a high fever (yikes!) But she didn't want to miss seeing Samantha on stage. I was really proud of Samantha for doing such a great job under difficult circumstances. It's not the first time my girls have been in a pageant sick. Jessica was sick with strep one year and still landed 1st runner up! Maybe we should try to get sick every year!

Unfortunately for me, she wanted all the Zhu Zhu pets we could find. She found out I'd been 'storing' the Zhu Zhu pets since last Christmas so we had to replace them, along with the maze things... whatever that stuff is the the little rats run around! She has quite a collection now. UGH!!!! I can't count the times we've tripped over it all!
