Bethel Camp Out

Camptown ladies sing dis song, Doo-dah! doo-dah!
Camptown race-track five miles long, Oh, doo-dah day!
The girls went on the annual Bethel camp out this year and they made it all night long! They must get that from their Dad! My idea of camping out is sleeping on the couch!
Sue got several pictures of Samantha with Lilly Grace but Jessica was once again elusive.
This looks dangerous! It's a good thing I wasn't there.

This picture is so sweet, even though we know they're not!
There's Jessica, she was off with Kenzi, Emily and Maggie.

Tea for Two

The contestants of the Little Miss Skipperville pageant are invited to a Tea to kick off their month of practice before the pageant. Here's Lilly Grace, Emmaline, Samantha and the reigning Little Miss, Georgie.
The theme of the pageant this year is A Night at the Movies. Here are the girls eating popcorn, M&M's and Cokes! But I thought this was a Tea?
Ahh, here it is! Emmaline and Samantha having tea!
They look like little ladies having their tea together...
 and sharing delightful conversation!
Now it's their turn to watch friends having tea.
I'm sure they are discussing their favorite tea!

Happy Valentine's Day 1st Grade

This year I happened to be substituting for Kristi Brooks during Samantha's Valentine's Day party at school and she felt she really needed someone to attend. Uncle Scotty to the rescue! He took the pictures for me (except for the one he's in!)
Here's Sam with her good friends Kylie (of the infamous Kylie and Ellie twins) and Lilly Grace.
I have no idea what she is doing in the picture? Wait I think Mrs. McDaniel is squirting the GermX, I guess she got too much! Why do kids love GermX? Look at how happy they are to get it!
Below is Samantha and Mrs. McDaniel in their new classroom! They were so happy to move out of the trailer after Christmas!
Uncle Scotty actually let SueB take his picture. It's a miracle!
Samantha is the queen of our hearts.
Of course if Jessica's class had a party she didn't tell us and she didn't let anyone take her picture.

Camellia: Alabama's State Flower

Jessica spent a lot of time on her Alabama Scrapbook this year. She ended up making the highest grade in her class on the assignment and it's no surprise, I'm sure no other student put that many work hours into their album. But it was worth it because she is very proud of it!
Unfortunately when it was time for the 4th grade to culminate their year studying Alabama by visiting the State Capitol they were not able to go. We'll just have to go one day ourselves and take Blake's crew with us!
