2010 Little Miss Rebelette

Samantha had a great time at the pageant. It was her first school pageant and she was so excited after watching Jessica in the Rebelette pageant for the past three years. Jessica decided to sit this one and all future pageants out. I guess I just wore Jessie out, I can't help it she is so beautiful!

Below is a picture of Samantha and her friend Emmaline before the pageant began.

Here's Sam on stage. She said she was shaking but we couldn't tell.

She walked perfectly and didn't forget any turns.

When she was in front of the judges she gave them the sweetest smile!

This is always the favorite part of the pageant, the pageant box. All the girls in the pageant have a box at the back of the gym for friends and family to come by and drop off gifts. As you can see Samantha's box is filled with lots of LOVE!

The picture on the front of the box is her photogenic photo.

Here she is on stage receiving her award for Kindergarten class beauty.

Sela, Jessica and Samantha made their way to the back of the gym to check out all the "loot." Then we went with Sela and Mrs. Summer to Rodeo's after the pageant.

Jes and Sam back at home having a great time going through the pageant box. Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful gifts and support.

Remember When...

I refused to smile for this picture. The more the photographer tried  to make me smile, the more I resisted. Mom and Dad were so mad at me I thought I was going to get a spanking. The minute we walked out of the room I started skipping and playing. I wonder where Jessica and Samantha got their stubborness hmmm.... I guess I deserve it!

They did get me to smile just one time!

Robert and Dewayne, that's a lot of fish. They still like to fish... I guess that comes with growing up in Columbia.

Baby It's STILL Cold Outside!

We may not have gotten snow, but we did get an ice skating rink in the backyard!

I had to make Jes and Sam wear shoes even though the temp was in the 30's. Samantha just had to ride the new bike Nana and "Santa" gave her for Christmas.

As you can see I was too smart to go outside with them!

"Bye guys, y'all have fun. I'll be inside." 

PawPaw and Alley Cat

PawPaw came by for a visit and he got to know Alley Cat whether he wanted to or not.

Alley kept licking and hugging his boot. Maybe Dad stepped in cat nip before he got here.
