Jessica's B'day Party at Nana and Pawpaw's

We had two birthday parties for Jessica this year. The first was at Nana and Pawpaw's house. Below is Jessica putting the candles on her cake. It's a softball, of course!
 It tasted REALLY good too!

...Awwwww. It makes my heart smile to see them together.

Little Miss Priss

Samantha had a great time the week of the Little Miss Skipperville pageant. Friday at lunch the contestants were picked up at school in a limo and taken to eat pizza and to see a movie. I was fortunate enough to be substituting that day and got to see her off with the rest of the school. It was a lot of fun. All the girls thought they were movie stars. 

I don't have any pictures of Samantha on stage because it was too dark to take pictures but here are a couple of her after the pageant in Sue's classroom opening all her gifts from Nana, SueB, Granny, and Aunt Margie!

 

She didn't win the title of Little Miss Skipperville 

(which is extremely baffling to Aunt Margie!) 

but don't worry she still holds the ever more important title of LITTLE MISS PRISS!

Sela's Rockin' Birthday Party

 Bethel had their annual Spring Fling and this year it was a Sock Hop.  Below, Sela and Samantha are showing off their SOCKS!

They didn't just do the Lindy Hop they also Limbo-ed...

And the music is the coolest at the hop
All the cats and chicks can get their kicks at the hop

And they did the Conga!

 At the end of the night they had a relay race,
