Soccer

This year Samantha played on the orange team. She had a great time but we just did not play enough games. It seemed as soon as we got started it was over. Too bad G.W. Long doesn't have soccer!

Baby Turkeys

We woke up this morning to find baby turkeys, poults, (yes I had to look it up) in our backyard . 

There were seventeen turkeys in all!

VBS 2012

I taught 1st-2nd grade this year.
 It was a great even though I did have the largest class! I had 17 total but a couple were out every day so I averaged 15 WILD kids!

Here are a few of pictures of my class.

Jessica and Samantha had a good time. Jessica's class was really low in attendance this year but when it came time for the program on Friday night Jess made up for the lack of kids by putting on a SHOW!

 But don't worry Samantha was center stage during her classes' performance and she sang a solo this year. 

VBS is my favorite week of the year. A whole WEEK I can preach the gospel to children. I can't wait until next year!

Samantha's 8th Birthday

My BABY is 8 years old!

We had a fantastic day celebrating with our wonderful family and friends.

This year Samantha wanted a Luau. I wanted a Fiesta. As you can see Samantha won! The Luau has been the most fun party to decorate so far. We might have to make it a tradition.

 Everyone was freezing when we came inside for cookie cake. 

I discovered later Clint had turned down the thermostat!

Next year, cake first, then swim!
