Nana got the girls pink cowboy boots because they love the song These Boots Are Made for Walkin' (the one by Jessica Simpson). They play the song and have a Ho Down. I haven't been able to get a picture of Jessica, I'll have to sneak up on her.

Swimming Beauties
The girls had a great time this weekend. Their cousins Emma Kate and Maddie came down from Montgomery. It was a beautiful day at the Crossroads.
Jessica, Samantha and Emma Kate lounging on the swing.
Maddie's ready for action.
The next two pics are of Unlce Blake throwing Sam and Jes in the air.
Here is a video of Jessica doing a back flip in the pool.

Say YES to VBS!
The girls had Bible School at Bethel and Westgate the same week. They were at Bethel in the mornings and Westgate at night. Luckily, Bethel's theme was Outrigger Island and Westgate's was God's Big Back Yard. Outrigger Islands slogan was Know the Truth, Speak the Truth, Live the Truth and it was about telling others about Jesus. I loved the emphasis on evangelism. The girls especially loved all the fabulous crafts at Bethel (as always). God's Big Backyard was about how we can serve God and our "neighbors." They had skits each night. One night they portrayed the story of the lame man who's friends couldn't get in the house to ask Jesus to heal their friend so they lowered him from the roof, Luke 5:17-26. They actually went up into the ceiling and removed tiles so they could lower a man down from the ceiling. They did a great job at both churches. The girls loved it.

Hanna's Cheerleader Camp
We went to see Hanna at UCA Cheerleader camp held at Honeysuckle Middle School in June. Watch this short clip! That's Hanna in the center. Hanna cheers for the Ashford Academy Falcons. Their squad won the character award at camp!
